About WedgeX

We built the SOC we needed.

WedgeX is an AI SOC built by a team that has run real security operations, and felt every one of its constraints.

Where WedgeX came from

Running a security operations centre is resource intensive. Skilled analysts are hard to hire and harder to keep, and every alert still needs a human to look at it. We know this because we lived it. Our team has run security operations for Australian organisations for years, and we faced the same resourcing and hiring pressure as everyone else.

So we started experimenting. We connected our SIEMs to a custom agent that could run queries on behalf of our analysts, taking the repetitive work off their plate. It helped. But the more we used it, the clearer something became: the agent was not just making analysts faster. It could carry out an investigation on its own, from start to finish. And it often produced a more thorough and more accurate result, in a fraction of the time.

That was the turning point. We stopped treating AI as a faster way to query a SIEM, and started building the SOC around it. WedgeX is the result: a complete AI SOC platform, with the agent and all the tooling a security operation actually needs.

The team behind it

Built by a practising cyber team

WedgeX is built by a team that runs real security operations for Australian organisations. The same SOC and incident response work we do every day shapes how the agent reasons, what it checks, and where it draws the line. WedgeX is not a generic AI tool with security branding. It is the working method of a practising cyber team, turned into a product.
